As surfers, conserving the environment we play in is critical. Whether it’s your local break or any wave around the world, coastal conservancy sometimes needs someone or something to protect and defend it. The Save The Waves Coalition is an international nonprofit that works with local partners to protect, steward, and defend surf breaks and coastal ecosystems. Using surfing as a vehicle for long-term coastal conservation, Save The Waves' goal is to protect 1,000 surf ecosystems by 2030.
