Went from a very raked flexy 9.5 inch California classic to this on a 9’2 Christenson dead slead. Doesn’t produce much power when you turn compared to the more raked fin but the turns are very point and shoot and bottom turns are carvy. Very stable when you get up to the nose and hanging ten and five is a breeze and feels super stable and easy to steer on the nose. Turning back down the wave is less of a carve and more of a point. Exactly what I was looking for.
Super stable up to the nose and doesn’t slow me down when trying to make quick turns. Just what I was looking for.
I was riding on 8'0 fun board with 2 ＋ 1, but it was hard to reach on the nose. And I try this bigger single fin, easily making nose riding hang five and cheetah five. Now I got 9'2 and it only took three sessions to made hang ten in Japanese clappy short beach break. If you are struggling to get the nose, your option is absolutely this fin. Very fast take off, super fast, and stable to get to the nose!
